Initial focus · Discrete manufacturing

For plants where one pump can stop a line.

Machining, metal fabrication, plastics moulding, component supply and packaging lines run on motors, pumps, fans, compressors and conveyors. PHL AI is designed first for the teams who keep them running.

Plants
One to three sites, mid-sized
Assets
Roughly 20–400 critical rotating assets
Users
Reliability, maintenance, industrial engineering
Data
PLC tags, historian exports, CMMS history
Boundary

01Typical equipment and data

What a first deployment covers.

Rotating equipment

Available in MVP

Asset templates for induction motors, centrifugal pumps, fans, compressors, belt conveyors and packaging machines, each with expected signals.

Typical signals

Available in MVP

Vibration velocity RMS (mm/s), bearing and winding temperature (°C), pressure (bar), flow (L/min), current (A), power (kW), rate (units/h).

Typical sources

Requires adapter

Historian exports (CSV) today; PLC tags through an OPC UA server and a gateway; existing MQTT brokers through a bridge.

Maintenance history

Available in MVP

CMMS work history imported as CSV onto each asset’s timeline.

03How a pilot runs

One cell, a few weeks, agreed measures.

  1. Choose a cell

Pick 5–30 critical assets where unplanned stops are costly.

  2. Start from exports

Import an asset list and historian export; no installation on the plant network.

  3. Configure twins and rules

Map signals, enter limits with their sources, publish twin versions.

  4. Connect a gateway (optional)

After your OT team approves it, add live readings through an outbound-only gateway.

  5. Measure

Agree pilot metrics up front, such as time from first breach to review. No outcomes are promised.

Not yet in scope

Process industries with DCS control, hazardous areas or regulated safety systems need adapters and a safety-review programme that do not exist yet. Planned
